A short remix of Massive Attack - Teardrop and an exercise in kinetic typography.

Moodboard

I was originally looking at motivational posters that are quite made fun of now but moved on to title screens for early Hollywood films and related typography artwork.

Remixing

I managed to procure the multitrack recordings (individual parts) of the original song and set out by remixing it to my style.

Style Frames

My primary focus on this project was to get the composition of words ‘correct’. It wasn’t necessarily on how elaborately I could decorate each scene.
